I have been interested in photography and astronomy most of my life.  After years of  visual observing I started doing deep sky imaging in the spring of ’05.  Not willing to invest in a dedicated CCD imaging camera, I decided to see how far I could get with the camera equipment I already owned.  As with any hobby, mission creep set in, and I now have a TEC140 refractor, Astro-Physics 900 GOTO mount and an SBIG ST4000xcm camera.
